Roja Parfums changed ownership in September 2026. The clearest confirmation comes from the legal adviser involved in the transaction, which names the buyer and the companies acquired. For a perfume shopper, that is a useful starting point before drawing conclusions about what happens next.
The confirmed ownership change
Tribonian Law Advisors announced that it advised Extravaganza Group on the acquisition of the entire issued share capital of Roja Parfums Holdings II Limited and its subsidiary, Roja Parfums Holdings Limited. Its notice, published on 28 September, dates the transaction announcement to 18 September 2026.
That establishes the buyer named in this deal. It is more precise than treating the founder’s name, the name on the bottle and the company’s current ownership as interchangeable.
Ownership and the perfume in your bottle
A change of ownership is not, by itself, evidence that a fragrance has been reformulated. It also does not establish a new price, a discontinued product or a different perfumer. Those questions need their own product announcements or other direct evidence.
If you already enjoy a Roja fragrance, compare the exact name, concentration and bottle size when shopping. A brand-level headline cannot replace those details, particularly when several versions share a familiar product name.
How to read fragrance-business news
Start with the date of the event, then the date of the report. An article published weeks later can still describe an earlier transaction. Look for the named legal entities and distinguish a completed acquisition from a rumour or a distribution agreement.
Claims about future launches or creative direction deserve separate sourcing. A buyer may explain its intentions, but an intention is different from a finished perfume you can smell and buy.
Choosing perfume while a brand changes
Your own preferences remain useful: the notes you enjoy, the way a perfume develops on your skin and the amount you want to spend. Business news can add context to a fragrance collection without deciding which scent will suit you.
The Afnan bottle used to illustrate this story is an independently selected product from Oudora’s shop. It is not a Roja release, and its appearance does not suggest any ownership or manufacturing connection.
