AL HARAMAIN

Al Haramain means “The Two Holy Sanctuaries” a reference to the sacred mosques in Makkah and Madinah. Moreover, that is where the story started. Bangladeshi businessman Kazi Abdul Haque discovered oud while visiting Saudi Arabia in 1970. He opened a small trading store in Makkah selling agarwood and attars. Furthermore, Al Haramain began as an oud trader before it became a manufacturer. That sequence matters. The brand knows raw materials first-hand because it sold them before it blended them. His son Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman now runs the business as Chairman.
Consequently, the company operates a 174,000 square foot manufacturing facility and showrooms across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, and the USA. Exports reach over 100 countries. However, Al Haramain remains rooted in traditional oud and attar territory. As a result, this is a 55-year-old house that still speaks oud as its first language.
