Bangladeshi businessman Kazi Abdul Haque discovered oud while visiting Saudi Arabia in 1970. He opened a small trading store in Makkah selling agarwood and attars. Furthermore, Al Haramain began as an oud trader before it became a manufacturer. That sequence matters. The brand knows raw materials first-hand because it sold them before it blended them. His son Mohammed Mahtabur Rahman now runs the business as Chairman.
Consequently, the company operates a 174,000 square foot manufacturing facility and showrooms across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, Singapore, Malaysia, the UK, and the USA.
