Fragrance layering is the practice of wearing two or more scents together to create something personal. Done well, it adds depth and longevity; done carelessly, it can overwhelm.
Start with a base
Begin with a warm, woody or musky foundation — oud, amber or white musk are forgiving choices. This anchors everything you add on top.
Add a heart
Layer a floral or spicy note over the base: rose and saffron pair beautifully with oud, while jasmine softens muskier blends.
Finish lightly
A single spritz of a fresh or citrus scent lifts the composition. Apply the heaviest scent first and the lightest last, and always test on skin before committing.
